Growing up close to the Hungarian and Slovenian border, I understood early, on that there is another side, another perspective, to everything in life. So, working as a boundary spanner between Palestinians and Israelis, Serbians and Albanians or Europeans and US Americans came naturally. Embracing win-win mentally is not only common sense, ask any neighbour living side by side, but also reflecting the mind-set of a great spirited mentor, Roger Fisher founder of Harvard's negotiation hub, today PON.

 

How people can negotiate, cooperate and deal with differences constructively was the essential question in our years together at Harvard Law School. Returning to Vienna in 2001, I integrated my European upbringing and training with hands-on US American methodologies into my professional practice. It became evident quickly that "It's people who make the difference." Consequently, I founded the Vienna School of Negotiationwith a practitioner's perspective, blending the best tools available into a Viennese melange. In an efficient and results-driven way of negotiation, I intend to impact, not only great substantive results and the process side by using the power of clear purposes and defined outcomes in e.g. meetings, but also the people side of negotiations. Real connection and building on relationships were the missing link in many toolkits while determining failure, mediocre outcomes or real success.

 

Since three decades I've been providing professional negotiation services to clients from international corporations, government institutions and the non-profit sector.
